Scholarship
My work as a vernacular anthropologist is focused on decoding the hidden architecture of power, culture, and identity. This space serves as a living archive of that inquiry. Here you will find my public scholarship, digital projects, and academic research as they develop.

The Bargain Bin is my regular column where I apply my theoretical frameworks to the world around us. From analyzing a new hip-hop album through the lens of the Faustian Bargain to dissecting a political headline through the Sacrificial Bargain, these essays are my real-time analysis of the bargains we are forced to make.

Digital Humanities Projects
Mapping the Crooked Room: A Digital History of Atlanta This interactive StoryMap project is the primary digital component of my dissertation. It visualizes my Atlanta as the Crooked Room thesis by mapping the city's history of political fragmentation and geographic displacement, making the hidden architecture of the Black Mecca visible.
